Summer Reading officially started on Monday.  We’ve already had a lot of people sign up, but if you haven’t gotten around to it, don’t worry – there is still plenty of time.  All we need is your name and library card number to get you signed up.  Any age is welcome to participate.  Kids get weekly prizes as well as entries to win the grand prize at the end of the summer.  Teens and adults will be entered to win several great prizes at the end of the summer.

If you’re interested in joining in the fun this summer, we have event calendars available at the library with all of the fun programs and entertainers we have lined up for the summer.  Events will also be listed here, and on our website:

Don’t forget – today is Make Your Own Band from 1-3 pm on Thursday, and tomorrow is Water Works with the UW-Extension at 1 pm (registration is required for this one.)

Join us on Monday, June 18th for DIY Day: Puzzles and Keychains from 12 – 1 pm.  Create and design your own unique 24 piece puzzles and decorate a one of a kind keychain.  All ages welcome, and no registration is required.

On Friday, June 22th, we’re making paper airplanes and wind chimes at 2 pm.  Get yourself ready for the breezy days of summer, with many designs to choose from.  Best for early elementary age and above.  No registration is required.
